Continue reading →: Got the Whole Dungeon Crawler Carl Hardcover Set for My Birthday!
For my birthday, I got the entire Dungeon Crawler Carl hardcover set! I’ve been doing the series on audiobook (Jeff Hays is fantastic, and I still highly recommend it), but the print editions all end with… I’m excited to dig in! If you haven’t started Dungeon Crawler Carl yet, seriously,…

Continue reading →: 2026 Fantasy Football: Three Drafts and Way Too Many InjuriesI never got around to posting my drafts this year, so here are all three at once, plus how things are going through Week 7. Short version: everyone is hurt. I also drafted a lot of the same guys in multiple leagues, which seemed smart at the time. Ka’imi Fairbairn…

Continue reading →: Why I Canceled My US Mint Subscription for 2026 SetsThe prices for the annual Uncirculated and Proof sets for 2026 at the US Mint have gone through the roof for seemingly no reason at all (they’re not silver or gold), so I’ve made the unfortunate decision to cancel my subscription. The new prices are: For some reason, they’ve decided…

I know a lot of folks like the War of the Lions, but I now consider this to be the definitive version of the game. Like in the other videos, exploration, menus, and battles sped up 4x for efficiency. Cutscenes and…

Continue reading →: Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles – Chapter 2: The Manipulative and the SubservientChapter 2 of my Final Fantasy Tactics playthrough! Again, I’ve played this game a lot in the past, so my goal here is to just do the full 100% achievements run, which means a lot of grinding. It honestly took a little getting used to in the beginning, but I’ve…

Continue reading →: Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles – Chapter 1: The MeagerI’ve started my Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles playthrough, and I’m loving every minute of it. The original is one of the greatest games of all time, so I was so hyped for this remaster! It does not disappoint. A ton of quality of life upgrades and fully voiced…

Continue reading →: Finished The Stormlight Archive, Built Another App
Finally finished Wind & Truth, to wrap up The Stormlight Archive for a few years (or 6). Absolutely loved the series, and recommend it to any fans of fantasy novels: I also built an app to format ebook highlights into a few different… formats. It takes the raw output from…
