I did some early research on the upcoming Fantasy Football season (or maybe just the upcoming NFL season), so I wanted to go ahead and drop some of my notes.
I was really just thinking about teams I want at least a piece of in the upcoming season, and if you asked me if my list would have looked like this 3-4 years ago, I would have laughed. All statistics are from last season, so none of these stats are necessarily a prediction of what they’ll do in 2024-2025. Since these are early notes, I also skipped out on some of the more obvious players, like Christian McCaffrey (also, that guy is on the cover of Madden, so count me out).
Texans
Mixon – Top 10 RB, over 1,000 yards, 12 total TDs
Diggs – Historically top 5 WR, (last year 11) 100+ receptions, over 1,000 yards, 8 TDs
Collins – Top 10 WR, 80 receptions, 1200 yards, 8 TDs
Dell – 11 games, 700 yards, 7 TDs
Stroud – Top 10 QB, 4100 yards, 23 TDs, 5 INTs
Chiefs
Brown – Stuck in Arizona, injured, only 1000 yard season was 2021
Bears
Caleb Williams
Keenan Allen – 108 receptions, 1243 yards, 7 TDs, injury prone
DJ Moore – 96 receptions, 1364 yards, 8 TDs
Swift – 1,000 yards, 5 TDs
Cardinals
Marvin Harrison Jr. – Rookie. Monster. Kyler is allegedly back in good form.
James Conner – Reliable for production when healthy and can draft late, 1040 yards, 7 TDs in 13 games.
Ravens
Derrick Henry old, beast, in a system built for him, will take goal line from Lamar – 1100 yards 12 tds
Dolphins
Achane – 8ish yards per carry. FAST. 11 TDs in 11 games, injury prone
Mostert – 18 TDs, 3 in the air. He can’t do it again, right? Tied CMC for TDs.
OBJ – last 1000 yard was in 2019 in CLE, 25 for 565 and 3 TDs in Bal last year
Tyreek – S-tier – 1800 yards, 13 TDs. Lock.
Waddle – got PAID, 3 years in a row over 1,000
We’re still a few months out from the draft, so these are just some very early thoughts on the upcoming season.
