I did some more short note taking in preparation for the 2024 Fantasy Football season. Here are some quick hot takes on quarterbacks:
3 QBs that will do well
- Anthony Richardson – As long as he stays healthy, he will put up points. In 4 games last year, he was on pace to outscore Mahomes (for fantasy purposes).
- Dak Prescott – Second best QB last year for fantasy purposes, defense has gotten worse, new defensive coordinator, new defensive system, lost starting DL, LBs. All of this means the offense will need to do more to be competitive. He’s also in a contract year. Expect a whole lot of points.
- CJ Stroud – Very streaky last year, but I think he’ll only improve, especially with Diggs and Mixon coming in.
3 QBs to avoid
- Josh Allen – Lost Diggs, looked average at the end of the season, last season was an anomaly for rushing TDs.
- Justin Herbert – 17th last season and the offense has gotten way worse. Lost their TE, top 2 WRs and RB. Coach likes to run first.
- Aaron Rodgers – 40 years old, coming off major injury, off the field for a year, doesn’t seem into it.
3 Rookie QBs
- Jayden Daniels – Mobile. I don’t know what he’s going to do for the Commanders record, but I do think this guy will win a couple of games for your fantasy team on his own.
- Caleb Williams – Should be solid. So many weapons around him it’s hard to think about how he’ll fail.
- Bo Nix – Could be a good fit with Payton, high completion guy, accurate, smart. Might not win you games, but probably won’t lose them either.
