Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Chapter 4: Junon – Dawn of a New Era

This is easily the longest chapter we’ve come across so far, but it’s a lot of fun. The amount of content in this game isn’t a bad thing – it’s a good thing.

There’s a ton to do here, from clearing all of the map objectives (nothing too new compared to the Grasslands, but there is a new method of traveling up walls for Chocobos), the dolphin event, the parade minigame, and the Midgar Seventh Infantry, and it all makes a very entertaining chapter.

As a tip, your Junon parade formation order should look like this, if you’re going for a high score:

I was only a few points short of the 100,000 point requirement for the parade, which was a shame. As you’ll see in the video at that portion, it was mostly just a skill issue. I missed a couple of easy button presses. I think this is the only thing I’ve technically missed on so far, so it’s something I’ll need to come back to after I’ve beaten the game using chapter select to complete.

The President Shinra scenes are incredible, the portion where you control Yuffie throws a wrench in things, but it’s a great addition.

This section also has a legendary boss fight against the Terror of the Deep, and it lives up to the original.

I know it’s early, but in my opinion, this might be one of the greatest games of all time:
