My 2025 Proof Set arrived from the US Mint (I have an ongoing subscription for proof sets), and they look amazing this year! I wanted to do a quick image dump, and also highlight a possible error on my 2025-S penny.






















For the penny, you’ll notice in some of those images, there are rings on the inside of the reverse of the penny. I’m not sure why those are there, or where they came from. I tried asking around on Reddit, but no one was totally sure:
So I’ve officially decided I’m going to get it graded. I’ve worked it out in the budget (YNAB), and I’ve purchased some shipping items from PCGS, a PCGS subscription, and I’ll be getting it graded for errors shortly.
Side note – getting coins graded is expensive.
