Chapter 2 is your first introduction to the world map, so there’s a lot to do here. For anyone who hasn’t played yet, I’d highly recommend ignoring the urge to explore right away, and going straight to the Chocobo farm and hitting up Chadly as soon as possible. This opens up a ton of side quests and map POIs (points of interest) – basically, it gives you things to do while you’re exploring, like:
- Hidden caches
- Lifesprings
- Remnawave Towers
- Fiend Intel
- Moogle Intel
- Chocobo Stops
- Divine Intel
- Protorelic Intel
And that’s not including all of the side quests, boss fights, main storyline, and general exploration! Even with significant portions of the video sped up, my chapter two playthrough video clocked in at just over four hours. Without further ado:
