I’ve been fairly busy lately, but I did get in a quick coin hunt on a rainy weekend. Playoff football is in full effect, with the Chiefs going to the Super Bowl, and the Lions currently beating the 49ers 21-7 (it’s almost halftime).
I didn’t get too much off of this hunt, but I did get some slight upgrades. I wanted to see how one of these would look in an old vs. new comparison, so I went with a slight 1975-D upgrade. Denver coins are very few and far between on the East Coast, so upgrading them has been a process, but upgrades do happen every now and then:
The other upgrades worth highlighting are both Denver coins as well, but I didn’t think to take before and after photos for these:
They’re still some great looking coins though! I still have a decent stash of rolls to go through, so I might jump in with some weekday hunts this week as well.
