The prices for the annual Uncirculated and Proof sets for 2026 at the US Mint have gone through the roof for seemingly no reason at all (they’re not silver or gold), so I’ve made the unfortunate decision to cancel my subscription.
The new prices are:
- Uncirculated Set 2026 – $124.50
- Proof Set 2026 – $107.00
For some reason, they’ve decided to price me out of annual clad sets.
For context, 2025’s prices were:
- Uncirculated Set 2025 – $33.25
- Proof Set 2025 – $40.25
If there’s something very special about these sets for the 250 anniversary, then maybe I’ll reconsider, but that’s a heavy emphasis on the “maybe.” These prices make zero sense, and are absolutely ridiculous.
I’m very disappointed.
